Moxifloxacin (MOXIDIN®)
What is Moxidin used for?
Moxidin is an eye anti infective drop used for treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, tarsadenitis, keratitis (including corneal ulcer), caused by susceptible strains, aseptic therapy after ophthalmic surgery.
How much and how often should Moxidin be used?
The recommended dosage is one drop, three times a day – to be increased or decreased, depending on the severity of symptoms.
What are possible side effects of Moxidin?
Potential side effects include ocular hyperemia, ocular discomfort, eye pain and tears.
What does Moxidin contain?
Moxidin is moxifloxacin (as hydrochloride) 5 mg available in LDPE bottle with HDPE cap in box of 1’s.
