Kepdin is an antiepileptic drug used as an adjunct in the treatment of partial seizures
with or without secondary generalizations, myoclonic seizures, and primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures.
How much and how often should Kepdin be given to children with epilepsy?
Kepdin is given at a dose range of 20 mg/kg body weight daily up to 60 mg/kg body
weight daily given in 2 divided doses.
What are possible side effects?
The possible side-effects of Kepdin include mood and behavioral changes such as
aggression and agitation, psychosis such as hallucination and delusions, sleepiness, weakness,
dizziness, and risk of infections.
